R&D&I
The research, development and innovation in Infopyme are performed by Telidia, a company of the “Grupo Paz Salinas,” that is formed by engineers and technicians with extensive experience in the sector.
Infopyme gives a huge importance to R&D&I in all its products and projects: “We aim to provide appropriate technological solutions to each project, developing products that offer high quality service and are cost-effective for operators.”
R&D&I has two main objectives:
- To renew and/or enhance telephony equipment and public telecommunications, to allow the offering of new features and services to increase and/or offset the drop in revenues derived from public phone calls, all with the lowest possible exploitation costs.
- To diversify the product from the technological point of view, where the component from R&D&I is distinctive in relation to another type of approach.
The R+D+i area is comprised of the following departments:
Design of Electronic Units
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Hardware designes electronic units for complex telecommunications equipment, with demanding power consumption requirements and high availability.
Design of Mechanical Elements
The department of Mechanical Engineering designs the structure of our products, creating prototypes and supervising the implementation of the final manufactured units.
Development of Embedded Software
The equipment developed by Infopyme incorporates embedded software, allowing the monitoring of units remotely. The customized software helps our customers make the most of their units, thanks to the detection of failures and parametrization of operation. All devices have the functionality of remote downloading of software that permits the complete renovation of the plant, allowing us to add new features safely, reliably and easily.
Software Development of Management Systems
The QPSETM management system is a multiplatform system with a modular design, that is highly configurable and scalable, and supports different types of topologies, so it is optimally suited to the needs of the customer. It is available in Windows or HP-UX platforms. Infopyme develops high availability systems for remote management of the equipment installed.
